About this sermon
Steve Patton covers most of Luke 9 in a Sunday morning class: the feeding of the five thousand, which he counts as five thousand more eyewitnesses available to Luke; Peter's confession; the first plain warning that the Son of Man must suffer and be killed; the transfiguration and the voice telling the three to listen to the Son rather than Moses and Elijah; and the boy the disciples could not free. He also sets Jesus' promise that some would not taste death against premillennial readings of a postponed kingdom.
