Our Mission
Why we exist.
Hillcrest Church of Christ exists to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ - baptizing them and teaching them to observe everything he commanded. We are a congregation committed to New Testament Christianity: worshipping God as the early church did, caring for one another as a family, and proclaiming the gospel to our community and the world.
How We Are Different
One standard: the Bible.
We wear no denominational name and follow no human creed. Our only standard is the New Testament - and we seek to follow it as completely and humbly as we know how. That means singing without instruments (Ephesians 5:19), observing the Lord's Supper every Sunday (Acts 20:7), baptizing by immersion for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38), and leading with elders and deacons as the New Testament pattern prescribes.
