About this sermon

Steve Patton's Bible class works through Luke 10, opening with the seventy-two sent ahead into the towns Jesus was about to enter, and what it meant to tell those towns the kingdom of God had come near. From there the class takes up the woes on Chorazin and Capernaum, the disciples' report that even the demons submitted, the lawyer's question about who counts as a neighbor, and Martha's kitchen at Bethany. A member ties the Samaritan and Martha together as a lesson in priorities; the last five minutes reach Luke 11 and the model prayer.
